Nature of change in Port Phillip Bay: History of the Bay webinar

Wednesday, 11 October | 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join our community event series to explore the ways in which the complex coastline, that is Port Phillip Bay, has changed from a historical perspective, to its current state and the predicted future of climate change impacts.

Our first webinar we will travel back in time and look at the history of the bay. We explore the geological history of the past from renowned coastal geomorphologist Professor David Kennedy, along with history of megafauna that was once here by paleontologist and science communicator Ben Francischelli

This event is part of a community event series of workshops and fieldtrips being brought to you by Life Saving Victoria (LSV) in partnership with the Association of Bayside Municipalities (ABM) and Victorian National Parks Associations (VNPA).

The nature of change in PPB was supported by the Victorian Government.
