Grassland Guardians Sunday Ramble

Sunday, 19 October | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

Come and discover your amazing local grasslands in Epping, Wollert and Aurora!

What if the most important plants you’ll ever meet are growing just down the road? Often overlooked, the native grasses and wildflowers of our local grasslands are beautiful. They’re also vital to healthy habitats and full of surprising stories.

Join us for an interactive Sunday session where we’ll get hands-on with the plants that have shaped this landscape for thousands of years. From the golden shimmer of Kangaroo Grass to hidden gems like Chocolate Lilies and Blue Devils, you’ll discover just how rich and resilient our local plants truly are.

Together, we’ll explore, share, and celebrate the quiet magic of what grows here and why it matters. Whether you’re a green thumb, a nature newbie, or just curious, there’s something here for you.

Kids are welcome too!
