Report 2026 | Melbourne’s Grassland Bullant: Initial report into the ecology and habitat of Myrmecia nobilis

This preliminary investigation into the ecology and behaviour of Myrmecia nobilis, an apparent grassland specialist species of bullant, was commissioned by the Victorian National Parks Association. Additional aims were to aid identification of potential nest locations when searching for new populations, improve habitat for the species and identify threats.
