The Skill Up for Nature program provides staff and volunteers with a leadership role at the VNPA the opportunity to come together to develop new knowledge and skills from each other. Being a volunteer leader and staff member with VNPA is a great way to develop skills and knowledge. Skill up for Nature runs as a program to complement this learning.
As VNPA’s work covers a range of areas including Look, Listen, Learn, Adventures and Protecting Nature we have a great range of skills and knowledge to draw from. New knowledge and skills we have learnt from each other include introductions to:
- the state of nature conservation in Victoria
- working with a range of different audiences in nature
- leadership and learning.
