Grasslands are more than grass – wildflowers, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals all coexist.
Grasslands, and the weird and wonderful life they support, have been smashed by agriculture and urban sprawl. Now, only 1 per cent of our wildflower meadows are in good health.
These surviving patches are threatened by inappropriate development and neglect.
VNPA is pressuring our elected leaders to do their job and restore our precious grasslands to good health.
