Join us for an information session about how your council or organisation can get involved as a local host of a Nature Stewards course!
We’ll look at feedback from participants, present our recent alumni impact survey results by Environmental Psychologist Dr Kathleen Bagot and hear directly from one of our recent alumni.
You’ll find out about:
– How your organisation can get involved as a local host of a Nature Stewards course.
– Our monitoring and evaluation results and how they could form the foundation of a business case for your organisation to host a course.
– The journey of a recent alumni.
Nature Stewards is a multi-week course that connects curious people with their local and wider habitats. The course promotes environmental awareness and stewardship through discovery, action and ongoing learning.
Our content and curriculum are developed and delivered by leading scientists, conservation experts, Traditional Owners and environmental educators.
We’ve run over 45 courses with local councils and other organisations across Victoria for over 750 participants. We’ve worked with amazing expert facilitators, guest presenters and enjoyed some fabulous field trips.
