Walk Talk and Gawk – Cowies Creek

Sunday, 14 June | 1:00 pm
Join us for an early Winter walk along our urban Cowies Creek in Norlane, Geelong. Although this creek runs from the edge of the Volcanic Plains grassland to Corio Bay, we will explore the middle, urbanised section between Anakie and Thompson Roads. This is where revegetation works began in the 1970s and continue today. We should hear some Growling Grass Frogs at the Bell Park billabong and spot a variety of birds, large and small.
