Truganina Park tour: grassland with the lot

Truganina Park on the coastal edge of Hobsons Bay has some preserved remnant grassland/sedgeland, along with very successful bush restoration projects on what were previously heavily disturbed sites. It has interesting nature-friendly recreation development, scenic views, and interesting plants, geology, and birds. Gordon Lescinsky will be your guide.

Meet at the 100 Steps car park, at Truganina Park, at the end of Andrew Park Drive, which is reached via HD Graham Reserve.

There are toilets near the car parks around the basketball and soccer stadiums nearby.

Remember to wear closed shoes, dress for the weather and bring sunscreen and water.
