Overnight hike – Mt Cole

Saturday, 29 March | 8:00 am - Sunday, 30 March | 5:00 pm

Come along, enjoy the views and get into nature on this 21km overnight walk in the soon to be Mt Buangor National Park.

The beautiful Mt Cole–Buangor area is in dire need of greater protections for its important wildlife and habitats, including the Critically Endangered Mt Cole Grevillea. Explore the important habitats and local wildlife with us along the Beeripmo Walk.

This walk is for experienced overnight hikers only.

You’ll need to carry all your water as supplies are not guaranteed. We aim to meet at Richard’s campground on Saturday 29 March at 9:30am. This is a circular walk and we plan on returning to our cars no later than 4pm Sunday 30 March.

This medium to hard walk begins approximately 180km northwest of Melbourne.
