The forests of Victoria’s Central Highlands now have a chance to recover from native forest logging. But we need to identify areas of critical threatened wildlife habitat to make sure they’re protected into the future.
Join us and survey for threatened possums, gliders, owls, native rodents, bandicoots and Spot-tailed Quolls. We’ll assess their critical habitat and identify key threats to safeguarding areas for the future.
Activities will include setting up wildlife cameras and audio recorders, tree hollow surveys, call playbacks for owls and evening spotlighting surveys.
No experience is necessary, all training is provided. This activity is not suitable for children.
