Grassy talk – The Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon

Tuesday, 5 August | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon (VGED) is Australia’s most imperilled reptile. They were rediscovered only two years ago after many thought them extinct.

Making sure they’re protected is a complex challenge, as developers push to clear land that may well be home to this amazing dragon.

Join Garry Peterson in one of the first public discussions about the future of our earless friends.

Garry is General Manager of Zoos Victoria’s Wildlife and Conservation program and a member of the national VGED Recovery Team.

Garry’s online talk will be followed by a Grassy Plains Network meeting.

This event is being run by the Grassy Plains Network.
