Grassy talk – Natural Damp Grasslands on the brink of extinction

Incredibly, only a few dozen hectares of the Natural Damp Grassland of the Victorian Coastal Plain ecological community survive on silty soils from Port Fairy to Wonthaggi. Dr Jeff (Eucalypt) Yugovic has been instrumental in the protection and formal Critically Endangered listing under the EPBC Act of these Damp Sands Grasslands.
Jeff has been a senior consultant with Biosis for over 30 years and has published many scientific reports and papers. His insights will make for a fascinating talk on this unique and most threatened grassy community.
