Grassy talk – Bandicoot-friendly suburbs: progress and challenges

Tuesday, 11 November | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Eilish Roberts is the Southern Brown Bandicoot Outreach Officer at Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria’s Cranbourne Gardens. That’s home to one of Victoria’s last remaining populations of this nationally endangered marsupial.

Join us as she provides her insights into the community engagement and stakeholder collaboration she leads to promote conservation and foster ‘bandicoot-friendly’ suburbs. It’s a heady mix of science communication, citizen science, and behaviour change to drive tangible outcomes for species protection.

This event is being run by the Grassy Plains Network.

Note that because of the Melbourne Cup, this talk is being run a week late.
