Grassland tour – Woodend Racecourse

Join us for a wander around Woodend Racecourse grassland! It’s a partially cleared area of grassy woodland that has kept most of its ground dwelling plants. Orchids, lilies, peas, trigger plants, daisies, heaths – the whole bloomin’ lot as Peter Cundall would say. The stupendousness of Spring flowers varies from year to year but it’s always worth checking out.

Remember to wear closed shoes, dress sensibly for the weather and bring sunscreen and water!
