Grassland tour – Mccorkells Road #2
Our last tour here was so good (despite being on the coldest November day in 80 years) we’ve decided to do another!
Don’t miss this amazing grassland. As one Council officer said, ‘This is the grassland my boss took me to so I could see what a grassland should look like’.
This roadside in Toolern Vale, in the City of Melton, has been protected and encouraged by being burnt every year by the local CFA brigade.
The details:
We have to be careful parking to avoid damage to the roadside grassland. Meet us on the corner on Missans Road and Mccorkalls Road and we’ll show you where to park.
Remember to wear closed shoes, dress sensibly for the weather and bring sunscreen and water!
