Grassland tour – Little Raven, Western Grassland Reserve

Join us for a tour of Little Raven, the southernmost block of the Western Grassland Reserve!

Parks Victoria has put a lot of work into this block over the last two years, it will be great to see how that’s progressing.

This block is a good example of the challenges and opportunities of the Western Grassland Reserve.

Expect Stony Knoll action, Seasonal Herbaceous Wetland, direct seeding and tube stock restoration work along with some challenging weeds.

Parks Victoria will give us a presentation on the Western Grassland Reserve, using Little Raven as a case study, so you’ll be able to get some great context and background!

Bring closed footwear, appropriate gear for the weather and water/snacks as needed or desired.
