Grassland tour – Epping Cemetery

Wednesday, 19 November | 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Free

How good are trees and grassland together? Epping Cemetery is an almost unused settler cemetery in Melbourne’s north with amazing grassland and Red Gum Grassy Woodland. It has ten types of native grasses and six types of lillies, including one of the largest populations of nationally Endangered Matted Flax-lily in Australia. We visited last year, and it was a stunner. So join us for a gander!

Entrance and parking is off O’Hearns Road.

Bring closed footwear, appropriate gear for the weather and water/snacks as needed or desired.

This event is being run by the Grassy Plains Network.
