Geelong to Lara – wetland discovery bike ride
Sunday, 21 January
This 11km bike ride will take us from Geelong train station to the beautiful Corio Bay. We’ll follow the Hovells Bike Track to Limeburners Bay and hop off our bikes to take a walk through Limeburners Bay Nature Reserve.
We’ll hop back on our bikes and follow Hovells Creeks trail through to Lara for a coffee and maybe lunch.
This ride will take us on sealed, shared bike paths with a section of riding along a road. There is one steep hill along this ride and a couple of smaller ones.
This ride will start and finish at a train station.
This easy-medium ride begins approximately 85km west of Melbourne.
