Experience the magic of Western Port Bay

Wednesday, 4 June | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

Join us for a sensory immersion into the sights, sounds, and stories of Western Port Bay.

Alongside Traditional Owners, a local ecologist, artists, and passionate community members, you’ll:

– Enjoy a cultural talk from a Bunurong elder.
– Watch rarely seen underwater footage of local reefs.
– Learn about the fascinating marine life of the bay with local ecologist and storyteller Tom Hiney.
– Connect with others who care about Western Port Bay.
– Explore how you can take action to protect this vital wetland – and share your vision for its future.
– Listen to the sounds of Western Port Bay’s mudflats, mangroves, wetlands, and seashores with artist Jo Lane.

Jo is one of the creators of BELLOW BELOW, with Dr Diana Chester – a soundscape/imagescape immersive experience portraying the unique sounds beneath our ears of Western Port Bay.

This is a free event, with optional wine tasting available for $10 per person.

Afternoon tea is on us!
