Ready for a bird nerd overnight hike at Wilsons Prom? We’re going to the northern wilderness area, camping at Barry Creek.
We’ll look out for secretive Eastern Ground Parrots along the Lower Barry Creek track heathlands. Plus any other interesting birds we can find! We’ll do some dusk and early morning rambles from the campsite when these birds are likely most active, so don’t forget your binoculars.
Overnight hiking experience mandatory.
Note, there are no toilets at the Barry Creek campsite so BYO bush loo kit.
We’ll cover 15km along this medium grade overnight hike.
