This 14km walk will journey from Mt Macedon village to Memorial Cross and Camels Hump then return to our starting point. It involves a substantial climb (500-600m) which is steep at times. Fair warning – none of this walk is flat! But you’ll be rewarded with tall forest, hopefully the occasional Koala, a scenic lunch spot surrounded by Snow Gums and a solid workout. Stay for optional afternoon tea at a local cafe.
This walk will not go ahead in high winds and may start early in the day if the forecast is for warm weather.
This medium difficulty walk begins approximately 70km north-west of Melbourne.
