Join a gentle 12km stroll in the Mornington Peninsula National Park. This circuit walk partly follows the serene Two Bays nature trail, with beautiful scenery and glimpses of wildlife. Other highlights include lush fern gullies and creeks.
The details:
The fairly flat trail starts from the Baldry Crossing picnic area (South East side of the Peninsula), until gradually descending to Light Creek. It then follows the Lightwood Break trail to the Lightwood Creek Camping area, where we’ll stop for a lunch break. The walk continues via Rodger’s Break track to the north side of Greens Bush. We’ll then take a turn to the East-West Break and follow it back to Main Creek track. The walk finishes back at Baldry Crossing picnic area.
This easy walk begins about 100km south-east of Melbourne.
