Bushwalk – Brimbank Park

Join a 6.5km walk through Brimbank Park! We’ll take a gently-paced wander around the park, taking in the Maribyrnong River, some bush regeneration and some panoramas.
This is a walk for the early risers with an opportunity for coffee at the end!
The details:
We’ll meet at 8am at the Visitor Centre (outside the Lumbar Cafe).
The trails are mostly wide and sealed, but there’s about 1km of unsealed trails that are either gravel walking tracks or 4WD tracks.
The walk is mostly flat, however there is a reasonably short but steep climb on a 4WD track of about 600m to reach a wonderful view. We descend from this point on a sealed path.
BYO water bottle, hat, sunscreen and snacks.
Please note the walk will not proceed if the forecast for the day is over 33 degrees.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
This easy walk begins approximately 20km north east of Melbourne.
