Guided Tour – Western Port Woodlands – Gurdies Nature Conservation Reserve
Saturday, 25 November | 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
FreeGurdies Nature Conservation Reserve sits at the heart of the Western Port Woodlands corridor. The reserve is home to large old trees, a chorus of birds and a stunning array of native wildflowers.
Come and experience this truly unique and threatened remnant bushland with our Parks and Nature campaigner Jordan Crook and friends from Save Western Port Woodlands. Find out which critters survive and thrive here and what is being done to protect them.
Along this easy 2.5km walk we’ll tell you about what we and the local community are doing to protect the area.
We’ll meet at 10.30am at the end of Dunbabbin Rd, The Gurdies, approximately 100km south-east of Melbourne.
Please bring food, water, sunscreen and sturdy footwear.
The nearest public toilet is at the Memorial Park in Grantville at 1504 Bass Hwy, Grantville VIC 3984
