Celebrating 73 years of protecting nature together
Melbourne City Conference Centre, 190 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne
Our program will include:
Felicity Brooke is the President of the Victorian Protected Areas Council (VPAC) and will speak on “Protecting the legacy and future of national parks: Parks Manager perspectives”.
VPAC is a professional body, formed by a group of retired and former park staff to share their independent advice and expertise, and advocate for improved resourcing and management of the special places Victorians love and enjoy.
Felicity has 37 years in protected area management, across three regions of the state, beginning as a park planner, then ranger, ranger in charge, program operations manager and finally coordinator of interpretation, information, and education. She is committed to the role of the ranger and national park management being multi-disciplinary and holistic.
