The grasslands of northern Victoria are almost as endangered as those of the Victorian Volcanic Plain. But that’s where many of the similarities end. Rainfall, soils, and many of the plants and animals differ, and wow do they do soil crusts!
Join Dr Paul Foreman for an exploration of this remarkable ecosystem. Paul’s a highly regarded ecologist with years of experience working on the northern grasslands, including helping protect the amazing Terrick Terrick National Park.
His online talk starts at 6:30 pm Tuesday 2 September. Stay for our regular GPN meeting that follows from 7:30–8:30 pm.
This event is being run by the Grassy Plains Network.
