As the year comes to a close, we celebrate our ability to again visit and experience Victoria’s national parks.
As always though, there is still much work to protect our natural places and native wildlife.
In the final 2020 edition of Park Watch, we feature our ongoing campaign for new national parks to be created in the central west of the state – and how more than ever they could and should be a key plank of our COVID-recovery.
We update readers on our campaigns to protect Westernport Bay, save Spider Crabs and get real action on feral deer. And we also provide a summary of the recommendations of the four inquiries into last summer’s bushfires.
As always we cover the most important issues concerning our national parks and other natural areas across our state.
