Victoria has unique and diverse natural environments but is Australia’s most-cleared state, with a large number of threatened species and places. That’s why it is critical to conserve what is left.
We work to conserve Victoria’s: tall forests, woodlands, grassland plains, arid mallee scrub, majestic rivers, calm wetlands, spectacular coastline and the thousands of native species that call Victoria home.
Our work covers many nature conservation issues and policies including threatened species, state-wide strategies and programs, native vegetation clearing, grasslands, invasive pests, riverside land and climate change.
