Victoria has unique and diverse natural environments but is Australia’s most-cleared state, with a large number of threatened wildlife and places. That’s why we work conserve what is left.
We work to conserve Victoria’s: tall forests, woodlands, grassland plains, arid mallee scrub, majestic rivers, calm wetlands, spectacular coastline and the thousands of native plants and animals that call Victoria home.
Our work covers many nature conservation issues and policies including threatened wildlife, state-wide strategies and programs, native vegetation clearing, grasslands, invasive pests, riverside land and climate change.
