Victoria’s environment department says they’ll create the Wombat-Lerderderg and Mount Buangor national parks. This year.
This is great news! For communities, rivers, forests and especially for threatened wildlife. The thing is, 26,000 hectares of promised protected forest isn’t included.
Let your elected leaders know how excited you are about the new parks. Don’t forget to add the urgent need to legislate the rest of the parks, with the level of funding our web of life deserves.
