Base camp bushwalking – Cape Conran Coastal Park

Thursday, 25 September - Sunday, 28 September

Join a base camp long weekend at Cape Conran Coastal Park! What is a base camp weekend you ask? It’s where you set up camp and then do day walks in different parts of the park, returning to camp at night. What a great way to search for wildflowers and explore woodlands at Cape Conran!

The details:
– You’ll be camping at Banksia Bluff campground which has toilets and bush showers.
– It’s a beautiful campground, nestled amongst Banksias and Manna Gums and home to New Holland Honeyeaters and inquisitive Lace Monitors. And it’s only minutes’ walk from the beach.
– On Friday and Saturday, you’ll do medium difficulty day walks in the park. Thursday and Sunday are for camp set up, pack up and travelling to and from the park.
– Payment to bushwalking leader for campground fees is required, it’ll be about $30.

This base camp weekend is being led by Bushwalking Program volunteer Richard T.

Please fill out the form below and they’ll be in touch with you with further details, including the start time and payment info.
