Premier, please approve new parks for the central west
Victoria’s central west forests of the Wellsford, Mount Cole, Wombat and the Pyrenees Ranges are home to 380 threatened species such as the greater glider and the powerful owl, the headwaters of seven significant rivers, and support a wide range of recreational activities. But without protection, they would remain open to logging, mining and other destructive uses.
Supporting the new national parks and reserves is the most important thing you can do to help protect these unique forests.
The Andrews Government needs to make the decision to create these new parks by February.
