Grassland planting day – Woorndoo #1

Many of you will be aware of the amazing work being done by the Woorndoo–Chatsworth Landcare Group. They’re leading the way in restoring roadside grasslands! They have lots of plants to put in the ground and would love your help.
Planting officially starts from 11am, but people will be onsite from 9-ish if you’re an early bird.
BYO lunch and gardening gloves. Public toilets are available 5 minutes from the planting site.
Afterwards, we might head to Mt Elephant to enjoy the splendid view, about a 25 – 30 min drive from Woorndoo.
Remember to wear closed shoes, bring water, and dress for the weather.
We meet at the Restorations Carpark – 200 m along Woorndoo-Streatham Rd from its junction with Bolac Plains Rd, Woorndoo.
