Bushwalk – Lerderderg River Heritage Walk, Wombat Forest

Saturday, 26 October

Come and join Bushwalking Program volunteer Darren McClelland and VNPA campaigner Ben on a walk following two historic water races above the Lerderderg River, in Wombat Forest.

Ben will tell share his local knowledge and talk about VNPA’s campaign to protect Wombat Forest.

Stay for an optional afternoon tea at the Garden of St Erth tea rooms (at own expense).

This 9km walk will meander through wet forest, fern gullies and includes some short steep hills.

This easy-medium walk begins approximately 70km north west of Melbourne.
