Cattle-trampled wetland in Dargo High Plains
In January 2011 the Baillieu Government let cattle into the Alpine National Park under the guise of a 'scientific grazing trial'. One month later our parks protection officer, Phil Ingamell's, travelled to the Alpine National Park to witness first-hand the damage being caused by the cattle. And while the cattle have now been removed from the park, the Victorian Government is yet to rule out letting them back in next year. |
