Alpine National Park under threat

Victoria's heritage-listed Alpine National Park is one of the finest national parks in Australia.

But like so many of our national parks it is coming under increasing pressure from invasive pest plants and animals.

Feral horses are increasing by 20% every year and large numbers of deer are making their way onto the high plains.

And to top it all off in 2011 the Victorian Government reintroduced cattle grazing back into the park.
