Melbourne is growing, and urban sprawl is eating into natural areas and green wedges, and impacting on some of the most endangered habitats and species in Victoria.

A significent population of the Southern Brown Bandicoot, a nationally threatened species, still persist in south-eastern Melbourne.

This report aims to ensure plannning considers the survival of this and other threatened species, as well as the needs of people.
