ebooks
We've been publishing books about Victoria's incredible parks, reserves, flora and fauna for more than 30 years.
Many of these books are available for sale through our website, but we are also moving into digital publishing with the reprinting of Wyperfeld - Australia's First Mallee National Park, A History of Wilsons Promontory and Conservation Journeys - A short history of the VNPA.
In keeping with our ethos of sharing the joy Victoria's wild places bring us, these ebooks are available free of charge.
Conservation Journeys - A short history of the VNPA
The story of the conservation movement in Victoria is rich in courage, passion and dogged persistence. It's also the story of years of debates, decades of protests and generations of community action.
As part of its 60th anniversary, the VNPA has commissioned this history of the Association and its role in the conservation movement.
A History of Wilsons Promontory
Written by John Roslyn Garnet (1906-1998), a scientist and one of the founders of the VNPA, this ebook reveals Ros's particular interest in the flora, fauna and human history of Wilsons Promontory National Park, one of Victoria's most loved natural icons and the southernmost part of the Australian mainland.
Wyperfeld - Australia's First Mallee National Park
The VNPA is proud to announce the re-release in electronic format of the comprehensive guidebook Wyperfeld - Australia's First Mallee National Park, by Geoff Durham.
First published in 2001 by the Friends of Wyperfeld, but out of print for several years, this meticulously researched book is now available free as an online flipbook, and you can print all or parts of it for reference.
