Small Parks - Join our small is beautiful campaign!

After extensive consultation VNPA has identified 20 'Special Places' in Central Victoria covering a total of 115,210 hectares.

These areas, which primarily consist of state forest, are worthy of better protection and management and have great potential as new "small' parks.

This would not only protect the unique conservation values of these places, but also improve connectivity and build climate change resilience across the Victorian landscape.

What you can do

Write to Premier Ted Baillieu and Environment and Climate Change Minister Ryan Smith asking them to implement the VNPA's Small Parks project recommendations to protect biodiversity and reconnect the landscape.

Premier Ted Baillieu
Office of the Premier, Level 1, 1 Treasury Place, Melbourne, Vic. 3000.
