Help create a healthy ocean for everyone

Victoria's coasts and seas are beautiful and unique. But they are at risk. We need to protect our marine environment now and you can help.

Over the past eight years no major progress has been made in better protecting our marine environment. To help create a healthy ocean for everyone we urgently need:

• An assessment of Victoria's marine habitats, values and threats.
• The completion of a marine action plan.
• New marine planning legislation.
• Additions to our current network of marine national parks and sanctuaries.

What you can do

Every action helps, but probably the most important thing you can do right now is bring this issue to the attention of Victorian Premier Ted Baillieu.

Please use our online letter asking them to commit to the four key actions above, and help protect our fragile marine world before it is changed forever.
