Grey-crowned Babbler
Grey-crowned Babblers are a special favourite of many people. These are birds that come in groups or families and while continuously communicating with each other they forage in trees or scrub to survive. When land is cleared, they are starved to death and disappear.
Yet this Babbler is such a cute bird. About 30cm long with a striking bill, a broad white eyebrow and a pale grey crown-stripe. It has dark greyish-brown upperparts with paler brown on the underparts.
